VALORANT In-depth Review
Valorant is a PC game that took heavy inspiration from some incredibly popular first-person shooters, Counter Strike & Overwatch, to create a new take genre game a developer like Riot Games could. In essence, Valorant is Counter Strike with magical powers from Overwatch, but it's much more than that, too.
Gameplay
The game is round-base, with two teams of five players going head to head on various map where the only goal is for the attacking team to detonate a bomb on a designated site, or for the defending team to prevent that from happening.
Valorant buy phase can be used to purchase weapons, armor, and each "Agents" abilities. Abilities are purchased with cash. Depending on the agent, abilities come with a number of set charges that can be spent during the match. These abilities can be used to help stop enemy from controlling a site or to enter a site to plant a bomb. You earn money at the start of each round, as well as every time you kill an enemy or complete an objective.
Agents are characters that you can choose upon entering a match. Only one character can be selected max on each team to broaden the variety. Currently there are ten agents in the game and each on are unique in there own ways. Character list:
- Phoenix
- Jett
- Omen
- Brimstone
- Sage
- Raze
- Viper

- Cypher
- Sova
Currently there are 3 map that you can play in Valorant. They are Haven, Split and Bind.

Riot Game(s)
For years, Riot Games, was a bit of a dishonest title. Not because Riot Games isn't a game company it is but the amount of games is what most people found troublesome. That;s because prior to 2019, Riot Games had only published a single title: League of Legends.
As of 2019, Riot games announced many projects that they were working on, of which were, Team Fight Tactic, Legends of Runeterra, Project F, Project L and Valorant.
The Bottom Line
Valorant offers a fresh take on a first person shooter, bringing together elements from different games in the FPS genre to create something unique.
