Day 13: Online Class

KHAN ACADEMY: FINAL DAY

 

Self Reflection:

• Overall I am very satisfied that I learned coding.
• I learned how to use Document Object Model (DOM), Structured Query Language (SQL), Advance HTML and JS.
• These skills that I have acquired can be used for future projects.
• Some roadblock that I have encountered in "coding" would have to be the early stages of trying to learn DOM, SQL, Advance HTML and Advance JS. It was so confusing as I didn't understand the coding languages they were trying to use in some video tutorials.
• My successes from coding would have to be inputting codes in a HTML table and seeing what each code did.

Day 12: Online Class

Today I:

• Do some of their projects and practice challenges
• Learned how to animate images and text to expand and be centered  

Tomorrow I will:

• Do my final day of Khan Academy

Day 11: Online Class

Today I:

• Learned how to animate an object to expand and how to make a timer through HTML/JS
• Watched some demo videos on "DOM  animation" and did a practice challenge 

Tomorrow I will:

• Learn more about "DOM"
• Do some of their projects and practice challenges

Day 10: Online Class

Today I:

• Watched video on how to make webpages interactive
• Did some of their projects 

Tomorrow I will:

• Do more of those projects 
• Watch more videos on the HTML/JS codes

Day 9: Online Class

Today I:

• Finished up with SQL
• Started watching videos on "HTML/JS: Making webpages interactive"
• Did some practices challenges

Tomorrow I will:

• Will start on some of the projects for "HTML/JS"

Day 8: Online Class

Today I:

• Started on "relational queries" in SQL
• Watched videos on how to do them
• Learned how to combine tables together into one
  

Tomorrow I will:

• Learn how to use SQL to update datatables

Day 7: Online Class

Today I:

• Did calculating result with "CASE" in SQL challenges
• Watch videos on how to do data tables with SQL

Tomorrow I will:

• Start on "relational queries" in SQL
